David joined Davis & Young in 1986. Prior to joining the firm, he was employed in claims for a national insurance company. His areas of practice include insurance coverage litigation, products liability, business disputes, construction claims, complex litigation and business arbitrations. He has represented insurers in litigation concerning coverage and allocation of coverage for environmental claims, toxic torts, commercial and business property losses, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, and advertising and personal injury coverage.
David is a life member of the Eighth District Judicial Conference. He is a member of the American, Federal, Ohio State, Lake County and Cleveland Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, The Midwest Environmental Claims Association, and the Justinian Forum.
Born in Ashtabula, he received his B.A. from Southern California College in 1980, and his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1985.
