Thom Wright, Davis & Young’s President and Managing Partner, has been a Partner at the Firm since 1992.  Prior to his current leadership position, Thom served as the Firm’s Chief Financial Officer for 15 years. 

Thom is a seasoned trial attorney (100+ jury trials) and has extensive experience in defending professional liability cases that include but are not limited to:  Medical Malpractice, Dental Malpractice, Errors and Omissions, and Legal Malpractice claims.  Many clients often solicit his counsel in evaluating and negotiating catastrophic injury cases.  Thom has a Master of Business Administration degree which allows for an additional perspective that is appreciated by corporate and commercial clients alike. 

Thom is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, Ohio State, Lake and Cuyahoga County Bar Associations, as well as the Cleveland Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, CLM, and the Defense Research Institute.

Thom received his BA in political science from Ohio University in 1981, Summa Cum Laude, and his JD from Case Western Reserve University of Law in 1984.  He received his MBA from Ohio University in 2013.
